Processing insurance plans for a high volume of patient load.
This clinic sees about 80 patients on a Monday! Must have great knowledge of California insurance plans and trainable.
Will be required to contact insurance providers to verify coverage and obtain authorization for service.
Verifying large insurance plans:
A good understanding of CPT codes and providing the patients a good breakdown of their financial responsibility by being courteous to them.
The customer service piece plays a big role since patients are already nervous of their procedures Heavily deal with surgical and GI's and must be able to explain their benefits.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
