Remote Big Data Engineer
A large automotive information technology organization is looking for a senior Big Data Engineer to join their team.
For this role, this person needs to have a strong background in PySpark/Big Data development and Hadoop as they will be utilizing PySpark, Spark, Hadoop to build robust data solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise solutions for data storage, processing, and retrieval.
The engineer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.
This person will also be participating in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
Minimum Requirements 7
years of relevant experience in Big Data12
years of experience in Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Unix, SQL, and Python Excellent written and verbal communication skills Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
